Brandon Final Day

The assignments for the final day were made last night.
I was assigned to work the plate in the semi-final between the host Brandon Knights and the Saskatchewan Provincial Champion Saskatoon Braves. I was working with Jim Train from BC & Joe MacLean from Alberta.
This game was as advertised, as it was extremely intense.
In the bottom of 1, Brandon pulled ahead with a single run scored. The run scored on a time play.
Brandon continued to one-run the Braves to death, as they scored 1 run in early offensive inning.
Saskatoon scored one in the third and forth innings.
Saskatoon twice hit into double plays, including a base-loaded ground ball back to the pitcher with one out in the 6th.
It was a great baseball game to work.
